Wolves lose close game to Cards

More than half the season is over for the women's basketball team, and this has been one of their best seasons yet. This does not mean they have not had their challenges though. They are currently on a six game losing streak. For any team this would be a struggle, but with a 10 game winning streak in the beginning of the seasons it makes it that much harder.

UM-D beats Concordia in overtime, 74-72

The University of Michigan?- Dearborn men's basketball team continues to battle a force to be reckoned with this season. That force happens to be in them. Oddly enough at times, that same force appears self-defeating, but availing. The Wolves moved to 5-13, 1-5 in the WHAC, after losing to Indiana's Institute of Technology and Aquinas College, but achieving a victory at Concordia University, in last week's conference play.

Athletic awareness on campus has evolved in a large way over the past few years. With the edition of the Wolf Pack, a Sports Day during Homecoming week and the increased interest in intramural sports, students on campus are becoming more and more aware of our athletic teams.

Hockey drops two games to Lindenwood

The Wolves were blown away by #2 Lindenwood, in back-to-back games this weekend, dropping their record to 16-15-2. "This is one of those games you don't want to save for the archives," commented assistant coach Shawn Daze after Friday's 14-3 loss to the Lindenwood Lions.
