The Muslim Student Association (MSA) celebrated Islam Awareness Week last week. According to Majed Afana, MSA president, the purpose of the week is to "create an atmosphere of tolerance and understanding for the religion which has been under the spotlight for almost a decade now.
Last Sunday Amnesty International and Student Government held a blanket making party in the student organization center. This party was also supported by Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Orthodox Christian Fellowship, Golden Key International and other student organizations.
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) hosted their first Game Day last Tuesday in Kochoff Hall. Co-sponsored with the Game Club, the event allowed ACM and Game Club members, along with students interested in joining ACM to play multiplayer video games.
